As from October 2011, a new machine will be in operation

Covering 9,000 m2, our new production hall has been in operation since August 2011.

In October 2011, we activated the new Jumbo 4,500 processing machine weighing 170 t and measuring 60 metres. This machine is one of the most modern and largest of its kind in Germany.

Through these new investments, Josef Schulte GmbH has created a new segment for itself in the field of extremely large and heavy packaging as well as in corrugated packaging for all types of closures.

The machine can perform 3 functions at once: glueing, taping, and stapling.

As a result, the focus of the company’s activities is based around the processing of large and extra large folded cardboard which is specifically used within the furniture and automobile industries, as well as in the metal processing industry.

With a production capacity of over 20 million m2 of cardboard packaging a year, a future-oriented investment has been made. By using the new machine, we are able to ensure greater flexibility when processing our orders. It now takes less time to reconfigure the machinery and now, even at short term notice, we are able to process greater quantities and volumes without long lead times.
